NHA TRANG SPECIAL – THE RARE EXPRESSION OF VIETNAMESE OUD
Nha Trang Special is an exceptionally rare expression of Vietnamese oud, distilled from carefully selected wild agarwood from the mountains of Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam.This is the finest oud oil I have ever distilled. Beyond its rarity and the extremely small quantity produced, what makes Nha Trang Special truly special is the beauty and complexity of its fragrance.
The scent is remarkably complex and continuously evolving. It does not reveal itself all at once. From the first moment on the skin, different facets appear and slowly transform, sometimes unexpectedly, creating a fragrance that feels almost alive.
The opening is bright and captivating, with beautiful citrus notes intertwined with soft sweetness and fresh woods. As it develops, the brightness gradually gives way to creamy woods, delicate floral nuances, and deeper resinous tones. New facets continue to emerge, while earlier notes remain subtly present beneath them.
The transition is seamless and deeply engaging. At times, the fragrance feels fresh and luminous; moments later, it becomes warmer, creamier, deeper, and more intimate. The longer it stays on the skin, the more it reveals.

After 25 days of slow hydrodistillation, the yield was only 25 grams from 5 kg of wild Nha Trang oud chips. The oil was then carefully blended from three different fractions, preserving the character of the entire distillation journey.
